but also his greatest fear is being left alone. Not abandoned but being truly alone in the world. He was created at the same time as pelor, rq, and balance, so they are technically quadruplets even though they are not related by blood or even born at all.

Rq and balance hate him to death, but neither of the four can actually be killed so he will always have people present. If they, or even pelor, turn their back and abandon him, they still exist. Theyre not dead. Traebit would convince himself that enough pleading would change their minds enough to tolerate him. And that would work, because of pelor. Pelor doesn't give up on people. Not in a doormat way, but if you have no one else to turn to, he will wordlessly give you the 1 bandaid or sip of water you need when you're half dead, because he has this thing that everyone can have a new beginning (and this actually happens in the story, I am so so eager to have traebit fans read that part!!!)

In short, as long as there are people in the world, that he can keep a distance while watching and have some weird fantasy in his head about how he could kill them, then he keeps his fear at bay.

His greatest fear is kind of like this: if he was locked in a dungeon with no windows, and LEFT ALONE. like, no visitors. The candle burns out and leaves him in darkness. No footsteps in the corridor. No rats. No dripping water. Not even a weed or patch of moss. Not a single other living thing. Even if there was 1 rat, if he was there for 100 years, he would remember that there was once a rat and that means there is life outside the dungeon. And remember, he can't die by being killed OR starvation.

He'd go insane :)

Probably wouldn't happen though, cause pelor would make sure he gets visitors. Water and broth. Etc.

The other thing he gets nervous about is winged characters suddenly spreading their wings. Whether directly at him or not. Sudden whoosh? Big flinch. And then the fact that he flinched pisses him off, so he tries to assert dominance either by arguing or pretending it didnt bother him.

The thing is that he is one of four, so actually was never designed/born to be alone. I think that's why that is his worst fear. Because it goes against the fabric he was made with.
